The Poggiolo estate includes around 50 hectares of woodlands, olive groves, vineyards and farm land at about 250 meters above sea level in the ancient county of Porta Eburnea, 12 km from Perugia. The word “Poggiolo” means balcony or terrace in Italian, a perfect name for this small natural hill sloping towards the Caina Stream.

The heart of the property is the park with the villa and the old farmhouses, now restored for guests.

Not far away, separated by an old wrought iron gate you will find the farm buildings: a stable, a barn and a storehouse. Across the nearby, small road a second gate will lead you into a wooded hill with oaks, olive groves, vineyards, small lakes and flocks of sheep.
